Questions from our Customers

Q: How long does it take to dry?

The most frequently asked question.  Many factors apply, such as humidity, ventilation, amount of moisture used and recovered, type of carpet/fabric.  Carpet can take anywhere from 2 to 24 hours and most upholstery dries in 1-2 hours.

Q: Will the job take long to do?

Every cleaning task is unique, but on average, a 1 bedroom apartment will take approximately from 45 minutes to 2 hours.  A 3 bedroom house might take 2 to 3 hours.  A sofa, love seat and chair might take 1 1/2 to 3 hours.

Q: Will you get the stains out?

We have some very specialized training and products but unfortunately, some stains may be permanent.  It helps us a lot if we know what the stain is, how long it has been there and what steps have been already taken to remove it.

Q: What kind of chemicals do you use?

The majority of detergents used by carpet cleaners are safer than most household products you may have under your kitchen sink!  At  Cleanworks, we choose to use the most environmentally friendly cleaning agents available, both to protect our customers and our technicians.
